VAHLE eRTG Systems

VAHLE eRTG – Electrified RTG Power Transmission System

The eRTG system consists of a telescopic arm with a current collector, allowing the system to enter and exit the conductor rail line automatically. It is equipped with a current-collector trolley that provides automatic extension and retraction.

The eRTG solution is offered in two versions:

  • 2+2 version: contains two conductor systems positioned side by side.
  • TriMotion version: has a structure with four conductor systems arranged one after another.

Both systems include sensors that ensure automatic extension, retraction and steering are carried out safely. In addition, the synchronization unit enables an uninterrupted transition from diesel power to mains power.

eRTG Systems:

  • eRTG (electrified Rubber Tyred Gantry) systems were developed to increase energy efficiency on port cranes and container handling lines.
  • This system reduces diesel consumption, lowers carbon emissions and enables sustainable energy use.
