Personal Data Protection (KVKK)

As BM Makina Group (“BM Makina”), we value the privacy and security of your personal data within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This information notice contains the essential explanations regarding the personal data processed through our website, communication channels and business processes.

1) Personal Data Processed

5) Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the statute of limitations/retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation. At the end of this period, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

6) Data Security

To protect your personal data, BM Makina applies administrative/technical measures such as access control, logging, authorization and network security; it aims to protect the data against unauthorized access, loss or unlawful processing.

7) Your Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your data is processed,
  • Request information about it if it has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with its purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically/abroad,
  • Request its correction if it has been processed incompletely/incorrectly,
  • Request its deletion/destruction under the conditions set out in the law,
  • Request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
  • Object to a result arising against you as a result of analysis by automated systems,
  • Request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
