AIMS TO INCREASE EXPORTS IN RAILWAY PROJECTS
BM Makina, which began operations in 1999, continues its production in the Gebze Güzeller Organized Industrial Zone. The BM Makina Group, made up of the VAHLE, LIFTKET, BKB, KATO and DEMYKS brands, serves with 21 years of experience across the product groups of power and data transmission systems, vehicle lifting and turning equipment, motorized cable reels, light crane systems, electric chain hoists and accessories. Having realized Türkiye’s first underfloor lifting project in 2013 at the Olimpiyatköy maintenance workshop of the Istanbul metro, BM Makina now targets exports in railway projects. Making a statement on the subject, BM Makina General Manager Kenan Bebek said: “This system can be realized by only a handful of companies in the world, because it requires precise work underground. We are very happy to have realized the second of this system as well. Also, while the first system we built lifted a 4-car set, in our most recent application we enabled the lifting of a 6-car set. This means we realized a system about 1.5 times larger. Both systems continue to work without any problems. We are especially pleased about that too.”
