After starting to run the Türkiye representation of the VAHLE and LIFTKET brands, the BM Makina Group manufactured BKB Profile Systems. Most recently, in 2011, it began producing vehicle lifting and turning equipment for heavy vehicles under the DEMYKS brand. Explaining the founding of the brand and the projects it has carried out, BM Makina Group General Manager Kenan Bebek said: “We began producing vehicle lifting and turning equipment for heavy vehicles under the DEMYKS brand. The production of these products developed in connection with one another. We developed our production in line with the requests coming from customers. In addition, we always aimed to be involved in manufacturing and to keep manufacturing. In this context we brought the brands together under the BM Makina Group. We are also trying to take important steps in exporting.”
FOCUSING ON THE NEEDS OF THE RAILWAY SECTOR
Explaining the work they carry out under the DEMYKS brand, Bebek said: “We began producing the DEMYKS brand in 2011. In a short time we became a known and trusted brand in the railway sector too. Now our brand is preferred both in the maintenance workshops of municipalities’ metro and tram lines and at the production sites of train manufacturers. We also export to places such as Iran and South Africa.” Touching on the importance of teamwork, Bebek added: “We continue our work with a team of 50 people under the BM Makina Group. Teamwork and harmony are very important for the sustainability of projects. For this reason, we value quality over quantity when it comes to the team. We take steps to increase our quality without growing our team size too much. Expertise and experience are two very important criteria for us.”
