VAHLE Small Festoon Systems
A Flexible Solution for Precise Power and Data Transmission — moving machine parts are usually supplied with power, data, gas or liquids through trailing cables. These cables and hoses are fixed to VAHLE festoon systems, letting them travel smoothly along the motion path without mechanical strain. VAHLE’s wide standard range of small festoon systems supports both round and flat cables and mounts on different rail profiles. The rollers and bearings of the cable trolleys are protected against moisture, dust and frost inside the rail, so the system keeps cranes and handling units running safely and continuously even under adverse conditions. Existing power and data cables can be integrated directly into the system for easy connection on site, and the runway rails can be customized to the line curve, minimum radius and cable sag of the application. All of this makes VAHLE small festoon systems the ideal solution for almost any industrial application.
