VAHLE LSV | LSVG Enclosed Conductor Systems
Reliable Power and Signal Transmission in Harsh Environments — crane systems and transfer cars must keep working without interruption even in salty sea air or at high temperatures, and their power and signal systems must deliver maximum durability and reliability. The VAHLE LSV | LSVG Enclosed Conductor System was developed for exactly these requirements: the touch-protected aluminium housing is light yet extremely strong for long-life performance. Copper conductors mounted on insulating carriers cover load capacities from 60 to 300 amperes; ball-bearing current collectors compensate large tolerance differences along the rail, and an optional heating system prevents frost.
Flexible Application Range for Harsh Environments — thanks to the durable housing, the system works safely indoors and outdoors, even in deep-freeze areas or high-temperature industrial plants. With up to 11 poles, numerous control functions can be integrated. The torsion-resistant light-metal profile allows suspension spacing up to 3 metres, reducing the need for substructure.
