Flexible, Reliable Solutions for Industrial Power Transmission — in every industry, mobile applications need safe, uninterrupted access to power. Depending on ambient conditions and power requirements, crane systems and port technology, conveyor lines, rotating platforms (such as ferris wheels), lifts and automatic doors place very different demands on the power supply line. VAHLE’s lightweight insulated conductor systems U15, U25 and U35, developed for indoor and outdoor applications, offer easy maintenance thanks to single-line mounting. Available with different conductor materials, these systems install flexibly even on suspended, lateral, vertical or curved tracks.

Modular Carrier Structure and Flexible Application Range — used together with the VAHLE Multi Carrier (VMT) or VAHLE Support Profile (VTP), the suspension spacing of the U15 and U25 models can be increased and the application range extended. Optical or magnetic positioning systems can also be integrated, so the system can be customized to deliver customer-specific solutions.

Durable, Long-Life Systems for Harsh Environments — with their aluminium/stainless steel conductor structure, U35 insulated conductor systems are used especially in the electrification of RTG, RMG and STS cranes and at port facilities with salty marine atmospheres. An economical alternative to copper conductor systems, U35 has proven itself worldwide with high wear resistance and long service life. VAHLE offers a broad portfolio of insulated conductor systems matched to different application requirements: touch-protected systems designed to DIN VDE 0100 can be configured with any number of poles.

Heated and High-Temperature Options — to prevent icing, insulated conductor systems can be equipped with heated versions, while reliable power transmission is maintained even at high temperatures. The U25 and U35 systems are also available in high-temperature versions resistant to humid and salty conditions.

Insulated Conductor Systems U15 | U25 | U35 — VAHLE Multi Carrier (VMT), the carrier optimized for U15 and U25. The VMT is an optimized carrier system developed for fast, economical, modular installation of conductor systems. It supports different conductor systems and integrates with positioning systems. Suspension spacing up to 3.5 metres; quick, easy installation with plug-in and clamping technology; a universal suspension compatible with all standard vertical profile types; a robust structure protecting the conductor system from mechanical impact; and integration support for optical positioning systems.
