VAHLE Open Conductor Systems consist of a copper profile bonded onto a T-shaped steel base — a structure providing high mechanical strength and reliable contact with the current collector. Light-metal options are also available. For high currents and particularly humid environments, our proven solid copper rails are recommended. Thanks to their versatile structure, VAHLE open conductor systems adapt to suspended or curved track layouts. The systems keep operating reliably in frost, extreme heat and harsh outdoor conditions.
