VAHLE CPS140 Contactless Power Systems
High Power Density — Reliable, Contactless Power Transfer: to stay competitive, many industrial operations must reach higher production speeds in shorter cycles. That is only possible when production technology and handling systems run without interruption — and power transmission plays the key role. Contactless (inductive) power transfer is an extremely flexible solution, especially for mobile applications: with no mechanical contact it is wear-free, silent and maintenance-free, cutting downtime and operating costs. As a further advantage, it responds quickly to high power demands and supports unlimited travel speeds. The VAHLE CPS140 delivers powerful inductive power transfer despite its compact size. The 140 kHz CPS system was developed especially for linear applications such as sorter systems and packaging machines; for heavier systems such as automated guided vehicles (AGV) or cranes, the high-power 20 kHz version is available as an alternative. The voltage-limited CPS140 stands out with high power density and a minimal installation footprint. Flexible combination of different primary units with a wide variety of pickups and control modules makes the system scalable and modular — and in plants running several mobile applications, the CPS series also brings clear cost advantages. This product group is UL certified to the highest safety and quality standards, and the CPS 140 kHz series is additionally SEMI certified to SEMI S2 and S23 for cleanrooms and hygiene-sensitive environments.
