STAR LIFTKET Electric Chain Hoist Systems | The Standard for Safety and Continuity in Industrial Lifting
STAR LIFTKET electric chain hoists are industrial equipment developed for the need for safe lifting and precise positioning in production, maintenance, assembly and intralogistics applications. Their compact aluminium-alloy body provides low headroom.
At the centre of the safety approach is the overload protection system positioned between the motor and the brake. In an overload the clutch slips to protect the system. In addition, elements such as 24 V control voltage, emergency stop, mechanical upper/lower limit switches and a chain guide provide multi-layered safety against operator lines.
With different mounting options (fixed eye suspension, manual or electric trolley, top hook suspension or BKB crane trolley), STAR LIFTKET hoists can be adapted for single-point use as well as for horizontal handling along an I-beam/monorail line. This creates a modular lifting solution suited to changing needs on production lines, in maintenance workshops and in the field.

Full Integration with BM Makina Systems
In BM Makina projects, STAR LIFTKET electric chain hoists are positioned not as a stand-alone product but as a system component that works together with the line layout, power supply, safety and ergonomics of use. Depending on the application type, the hoist is integrated with the most suitable travel and lifting combination on BKB / ALUBKB light crane systems (monorail, bridge, jib/arm crane, station cranes).
The BM Makina engineering process begins with selecting the right product according to the required capacity and the site needs. It is then engineered taking into account the assembly site and processes, the required approach in the working area and the lifting-height targets.
On mobile systems the power and control line is integrated where needed with VAHLE power & data transmission solutions (conductor systems, festoon/cable-handling arrangements, control components). On the control side, 24 V control, emergency stop, limit switches and field safety circuits are implemented in accordance with safety procedures.
In the final step, BM Makina includes commissioning, testing, user training, a periodic maintenance plan and service/spare-parts processes, aiming for long-life and sustainable operation of the LIFTKET hoists in the field.

LIFTKET is an electric chain hoist that keeps its high reliability even in demanding conditions. This is made possible by a high duty cycle, a motor with forced cooling and special cooling fins designed to suit the LIFTKET body form. The intelligently designed slip-clutch structure and the positioning of the clutch and brake ensure that the heat generated in these components is safely removed from the system without affecting the drive motor.
Patented, Spring-Loaded, Asbestos-Free Lined, Non-Welding Slip Clutch
Thanks to a new, patented connection system, there are now only positive-locking connections between the brake and the load. As also applied in LIFTKET, this consistent continuation of the safety principle means that “in the event of a connection failure, a load drop is not possible”.
Chain Quality to DIN EN 818-7 Standard
Through time-consuming stress tests in our test laboratory, the service lives of the components have been tested according to FEM requirements for all motor groups.
Easy Maintenance and Service
The motor, the oil-filled and oil-tight gearbox, the drive motor and the brake can be completely replaced when needed and are ready to work without any adjustment. After the spring-loaded slip clutch is replaced, only a clutch setting with a test load is required.
Contactor Control with Replaceable Components
Maintenance and repair of the control systems is simple and effective. The components are designed to be replaced individually.
