DEMYKS Underfloor Lifting Systems

DEMYKS Underfloor Lifting Systems are advanced engineering lifting systems developed by BM Makina specifically for rail vehicle maintenance and repair workshops. Fully integrated into the floor, the system makes efficient use of workshop space: when not in use, nothing remains on the surface and the working area stays completely free.

The jack columns embedded under the floor are integrated into the rail axes along the track. Lifting points are precisely positioned to meet the bogie or underbody support points of the vehicles, so the system can lift an entire trainset or just a selected wagon in a single operation. The system is also equipped with special mechanisms that simplify bogie exchange and maintenance: thanks to the auxiliary rail structure, after the train is lifted the bogies are lowered safely and rolled out from under the train on the rail line — an ergonomic, safe and fast maintenance process.

Since 2011, BM Makina has carried out the design, production and installation of underfloor lifting systems in Türkiye under the DEMYKS brand. The systems fully comply with international engineering standards, CE safety criteria and rail workshop norms. Every project is designed specifically for the vehicle type, load capacity and track configuration.
